Movement and breathing are key components that are readily available to activate your health. Based on the ancient art of qigong, these gentle mindful movement classes will be combined with short lessons on the current understanding of relaxation, alignment, posture, efficient movement and breathing. These classes are meant to extend the benefits of your therapy into every day life and to provide practical and simple tips on cultivating an inner smile within a balanced body.
Along with her formal education in manual therapy, Elyse brings into each class her experience as a martial artist in Shotokan Karate (2nd degree black belt), and in tai chi and qigong. She has her level 2 qi gong instructor’s certification. She hopes to inspire you with the ancient wisdom of the east paired with the current science of biomechanics and physiology.
Associated with the Town of Caledon’s Wellness programs, Elyse teaches the qigong program in Bolton.
